01Timeline
Dates are indicative. Clearance processing can stretch the later stages.
Day 1. Complete the online form, upload your resume and cover letter, and provide references and the security questionnaire. Automated screening runs first.
Days 2 to 7. The background investigation starts, references are verified, employment history is checked, and clearance processing begins.
Days 8 to 14. A skills assessment, problem-solving scenarios, a code review for technical roles, and an evaluation of your domain expertise.
Days 15 to 21. You meet potential teammates, sit a leadership panel, and we talk through how you work and why you want this mission.
Days 22 to 30. A full review of your candidacy, clearance verification, the offer and any negotiation, and an onboarding schedule.
02Candidate profile
Technical depth, a security mindset, and a reason to be here. All three.
Most positions require a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
We hire people who are already good at their craft and still learning.
A clear view of why the work matters and how to do it ethically.
You will work closely with other disciplines. That has to go well.
03Interviews
You will meet the people you would work with, not only the people who would hire you.
30 to 45 minutes with an HR representative. Initial fit and basic qualifications.
60 to 90 minutes with a technical lead and a senior engineer. Skills, problem-solving, domain expertise.
45 to 60 minutes with the department head and team members. How you work, mission alignment, leadership potential.
30 to 45 minutes with a VP or director. Strategic thinking, long-term view, and the final assessment.
04Preparation
